Prototypes

  1. Our first prototype consisted of a 3D model of a locking mechanism. This mechanism would have 2 pieces that spin independent of each other, which would allow the bag to rotate freely while attached. This didn’t yet represent a way to attach the bag to this mechanism, but it was a very important step in learning the 3D printing process.

  1. Our second prototype built off of this idea, and also included a way to attach the bag itself and included the elastic belt. This design ended up being refined into our final deliverable, Lock n’ Go.
